Called me up at aroung 10:00 AM

A man with a heavy Indian accent saying I owe money and am going to be arrested. I have already spoken to an attorney about these people and he has called them and he said they are Scam artists. They would not provide any documentation of the debt I supposedly owe. They use threats to try to scare people into sending them money.

Told them we were on do not call list and then said they were not selling. Then hung up

Actually, I read the above posts and I can just say "all of the above". It's irritating because I have small children in school and just had surgery...a few times I had to go to the phone, in case it was the school..Same as everyone else, no one is ever on the phone and they call numerous times a day, every day.

Gave out important info that I now feel the phone call was fraud. Cannot reach them by phone so quite worried.

Save on your taxes with important information. When asked to mail the information the sales representative does not respond. When told that we have a certified CPA, the sales respresentative says, "Oh, CPA's don't have this information." Just save time and hang up on these number which is trying to sell you an energy tax credit via energy survey at your home. Each month they try a different sales technique. They are spinning off of disconnected phone numbers in the Round Lake Illinois area.

they leave a nasty message making demands I am so sick of it they call 5xs a day these need to stop

I got the same type of call as reported by Kathy on 28JUN10; except I ignored it at first. I called it back and the ladt who answered was evasive and wouldnt answer any questions. She attempted to transfer me so I hung up. I got called back a minute later. The woman caller made herself sound knowledgable, but was snippy making snide comments. During the conversation she says she is from DCS and is collecting for Texaco. Per my states laws I recorded the conversation and let her know I was doing so. The debt she claims to be collecting for goes back 12 years. I used to work debt collection and let her know that I am familiar with the FDCPA and that their collection practices do not align with the law. I also informed her not to call me again.

"this is an inportant message from valued services" if it is so important why won't they call in person, and when the automated call i recieve is around 8:00 pm so when i return the call it says their offices are closed i left message, and they still keep @%$$#%& calling how do i make it stop?

calling for someone we never heard of. relentless they are. they will not stop. reported to ftc.

They call - don't answer. hang up , many times...STOP!!!

Called 3 times today. Calls every other day. Never a message.
